The Sámi Education Institute organizes short intensive courses and training sessions in numerous villages and communities in the Sámi region to better prefer its citizens for employment in the workforce.

Examples of previous certificate courses held include: First Aid & CPR, Occupational Health & Safety, Hot works Card, Tourism Passport, Alcohol Passport, Food Safety & Hygiene Cert. etc.
